employees. Firegod Design is a graphic
design studio, first established in 1970. Our
primary focus is to provide high quality
design to our clients based on their
requirements.
3. Induction Requirements
● Guided tour of building
● Completion of banking, tax file #, payroll
forms etc
● Introduction to key members of staff
● Introduction to company's operating
procedures
● OH&S training
4. Safety Procedures
● Every employee has the right to a safe
workplace
● Protective clothing/eye wear/footwear
should be worn where required
● OH&S guidelines should be followed at all
times.
5. Safety Equipment Checks
● Safety equipment checks are carried out at
regular intervals by an independent
company and all equipment is tagged
accordingly.
● All safety issues should be reported
immediately for action by completing a
“Safety Incident Form”.

9. OH&S Hazard Prevention
At Firegod Design we have in place
procedures to deal with OH&S hazards
occurring. All employees are responsible
for reporting any potential hazards in the
workplace to their immediate supervisor or
the OH&S Officer – Katherine Thompson.
Regular equipment and workplace
ergonomic checks are conducted.
10. Incident Reporting Procedure
● Advise supervisor of accident and First Aid
Officer
● Accident incident report to be completed
● Identify the cause of accident
● Follow up to be made to prevent further
accidents occurring
11. OH&S Consultative Process
● The OH&S Officer completes all associated
training.
● This knowledge is then passed on to all
other employees through a formal training
session.
● All other OH&S issues are discussed on a
weekly basis at departmental meeting.
12. Procedure for Emergencies
● Remain calm
● Remove of hazard, if possible. If not,
clear the area
● First aid staff to attend to injured person/s
● If fire, direction from Fire Warden/s to move
to safe evacuation area
● Report details of emergency.

● Employer's responsibilities -
Adequately induct, inform, train and
supervise staff to ensure safe OHS
practices are understood and upheld by all
employees.
Provide all appropriate personal protective
equipment (PPE) required to ensure
workers can complete their job safely.

procedures to ensure that workers are

others from injury.
Report any workplace hazards.
Obey all health and safety procedures,
including correctly wearing all personal

Get to know emergency procedures/ and
the location of the first aid kit.
