Elysavetgrad. In addition he
was a good businessman.
His whole life he was
dedicated to the
community.
He headed the city council
during 27 years. All his
salary he gave to the needs
of the city. He bequeathed
us that Community service
should be the goal of life.
3. ANNA DMYTRYAN
She built two modern hospital at
that time for their citizens in
Elysavetgrad and
Novomyrhorod.
The hospital was built in 1904. It
was modern scientific
institution. Poor people were
able to get free treatment in it.
She was an example of charity
for us.
4. YAKOV PAUCHENKO
Many people do not know who
the author of such wonderful old
buildings in our city. His name is
Yakov Pauchenko.
Total recorded more than 20
buildings by 48 years of his life.
He was a tireless worker.
5. YULIY MEITUS
Yuliy Meitus was born in
Elysavetgrad, now Kirovograd. He
was a famous composer. He
thought that Music is an important
tool of stage expression.
He was very determined and
persistent.
6. GEORGY LANGEMAK
Georgy Langemak
studied in Elisavetgrad
in 1907-1916 in my
school. In that time my
school was Men's
Gymnasium.
He was the inventor of
the rocket launcher.
We know it as
"Katyusha".
