2. Q Contents Page
This is an example of a typical Q magazine contents page. When
first looking at Q magazine’s contents page, the initial factor that
engages me is the professional and precision of it. It is all very
traditionally set out with the columns at the side, and the titles
and page numbers, with a few images. It’s set out well and
simple to read. The colour scheme right the way through the
contents page is consistent, all the writing is black, and on either
a white or grey background making a appealing classy look.
3. NME Contents Page
This is an example of a typical NME magazine contents page.
The title’s of stories are mostly one word, so that it is easy to
read and catches the reader's attention promptly. They are in
capital letters, which make them stand out and the colours of
them are black and white, which dissimilarity each other well,
again making them stand out. The content shown for this
magazine includes mostly news on fresh new music. NME are
recognized for uncovering new music so generally their
magazines content is about new music.
4. Kerrang Contents Page
This is an example of a typical Kerrang magazine contents page.
The main colours to this contents page are yellow, black and
white. This gives that disobedient, danger feeling to the
magazine. The contents page has the typical conventions which
include The title 'contents', main feature which is Bring me the
Horizon, and features with Page numbers in numerical order.
There is a simple background that is white. This is important
because the text on top has to be readable.
