2. Face of the Earth
The face of the earth’s surface seems to have existed just as they have been since the world
begun.
Scientific study has been devoted to the thin crustal area on which ma lives, and most of the
earth’s surface features are well known.

70% oceans and seas
5% in land water like lakes and rivers.
5. Peninsula
A tract of land , large or small, nearly surrounded by water or atleast having water on three sides so
that the greatest part of the boundery is a coast line.
