This document discusses various composition techniques for photography, including framed shots, focused shots, unusual angles, using lines, rule of thirds, and motion shots. Each technique is briefly explained through examples of photos that demonstrate each concept, such as a close-up eye shot framed by glasses, a bee in focus against blurred grass, a sign shot from an unusual low angle, a circle photo showing different line orientations, an off-center no trespassing sign, and a walking woman filling the frame but looking off into open space.
2. Framed Shot. This is my framed shot. It’s of Chelsea’s eye and I love how her glasses frame her eye. I also like how it’s at an angle so you can tell she is looking at something and it makes you wonder what it is.
3. Focused Shot. This is the shot which has focus. It’s main focus is on the bee blurring out the grass on the side, but I also like how some of the grass is sharp.
4. Unusual Angle. This is my unusual angles shot. It’s almost sarcastic as the angle makes the sign seem big and the storm clouds behind make it seem unfriendly when it’s the opposite of both. It’s a nice extremely small town which makes this picture at an unusual angle.
5. Using Lines. This is my using lines photo. I think it shows lines because not only are there lines on the circle but the one circle is 90⁰ to you and the rest of them are on an angle showing other types of lines.
6. Rule of Thirds. This is my rule of thirds photo. The no trespassing sign is off to right and not quite centered. I like how the sign and wall is kind of dirty showing that no one has been there in a while.
7. In Motion Shot. This is my motion shot. I like how there is open space to where she is walking and how she is looking in that direction.
