2. Song Idea 1- Ella Henderson ‘Pieces’
When we listened to this song as a group we came up with a few idea we could do in the music video:
- Paint fight with balloons in the air, with people dressed in bright clothes during the chorus. This will
be in a large park with loads of people. The main artist running around and dancing with a cloth in
her hands.
- The verse will be simple and plain in comparison to the chorus.
- We thought the verse could contain fast ballet dancing clips for shorts times as this won't be the
main focus of the video.
- The verse will be in a small room with lightbulbs and one singer, this is the performance side of the
video. This will be done in the location of a white studio, to contrast with the colourful chorus.
- The video will include all conventions eg narrative, concept and performance.
3. Song Idea 2 - Lorde ‘Bravado’
When we listened to this song as a group we came up with a few idea we could do in the music video:
- We wanted to have lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling with a black background to open the music
video by cloning.
- We also thought we could use the dance studio and have a contemporary/ballet style of dance
featuring throughout.
- We wanted to use props of glitter and fairy lights.
- The music video would be showing the genre indie and have the ballerina illustrate the lyrics.
- We would also use a studio to have the main vocalist singing into a microphone the lyrics.
4. Song Idea 3 - Vanic x Zella Day ‘Hypnotic’
When we listened to this song as a group we came up with a few idea we could do in the music video:
- In the chorus when the beat drops we thought we could have multiple shots- sped up/fast pace
with reverse effects and other colour effects to make it very upbeat.
- We thought that really cool, indie makeup would work with the genre of the song, there could be
multiple different outfits such as white dresses with strobe or fluorescent lighting to contrast with it
- We had an idea of getting different coloured glitter and throwing it over the artist to create a cool
shot putting it face past and reverse as well.
- We also thought the artist could have different coloured contact lenses and there could be a close
up shot and every time she blinks the contact lenses change colour.
- We want to have locations such as parks, fields - all beautiful locations that could add a presence
to the video.
- We thought that we could have wind fans to make good close up shots which contrast but also
compliment the other shots.
