Initiate, supervise and control important matters such as raising
funds and hiring key members such as the film director.
Arranges distributors for the film.
Persuade others to believe in their creative vision.
Overall control on every aspect of a films production.
3. DIRECTOR
Directors job roles:
Interpreting scripts and developing them into a film. This
involves all aspects that effect the movie i.e. planning locations,
shots, acting styles etc..
Coaching and directing actors towards the required
performances.
Directing and coordinating staff on set.
Ensuring that deadlines are met.
4. CAMERAPERSON
Camerapersons job roles:
Carries out instructions regarding camera compositions and
development.
Assess camera elements of performance, lighting, composition
and camera movement to create cinematic effect.
Decides where to position the camera and what supporting
equipment to use.
5. EDITOR
Editors job roles:
Responsible to ensure that the story flows effortlessly from
beginning to end.
Select the best takes and edit them together to create scenes.
Supervisory role during the music and track laying.
