4.How did you use Media Technologies in the
construction, research,planning and
evaluation stages?

2. Research and Planning
In researching the indie genre and planning our Blogger allowed me to edit
music video we used Blogger to record our posts, save drafts and publish
findings and results. Blogger was a good quick posts about our groups
technology as it allowed me present my work progress. We could also scan
digitally and is quicker than doing it on paper. It sketches and hand written
allowed to me to draft posts and follow other plans onto the blog.

3. Construction
In editing our video we used a
Macbook with the software Final
Cut Pro. We found the software
easy to use to create quick edits
which was vital in our music video
as that is a key theme in videos by
The Libertines. To shoot our video
we used a Nikon D600, we also
used this to take pictures for our
Digipak and Advert. The use of the
memory card also allowed us to
access our work on various laptops
and was a useful tool in the
construction of the video.

4. Research
We used survey monkey to find out more about
our audience responses to the music video. We
asked what we could improve on and the best
parts so we could make improvements. Survey
Monkey was useful to collect results from our
audience for in depth answers. We posted the link
of our Survey under our Youtube video.
We posted our music video from Final Cut Pro onto
Youtube.

5. Planning
To create our Digipak and Advert we used
Photoshop. We were able to do this quite quickly
as we had all used Photoshop in our music
magazine in AS.
We used our mobile phones to
contact each other through the
shooting of the video. Also we
were able to check of blogs on
them and make posts from them
in necessary. They were a vital
technology in the construction
of the video.
The use of PowerPoint has also
allowed me to show my work
in another medium. From
PowerPoint I made a slideshare
account so I was able to post
presentations onto my blog.

6. Research
All of these websites were vital in my
research to do quick searches, find
responses about the video, post our
final video, create questionnaires and
gain feedback.
