2. The Dark Knight. Male interrogator. Low angle over the shoulder shot giving a feeling of vulnerability Interrogator is stood above the accused to show dominant role in scene.
3. Suspicion. (My production) Dominant stooping stance often used by interrogator to show his power in scene. Low angle over the shoulder shot to show vulnerability of accused as if often seen in crime films
4. Suspicion. (My production) A suit shows power which solidifies his authority. The interrogator is often a male role as male are traditionally more dominant than females so we decided to follow this convention.
5. Suspicion. (My production) Suspense is often built up through the lighting used so we opted for a nocturnal scene to improve the suspense. Women are often traditionally portrayed as the victims and weak and so we decided to carry this convention over to the production.
6. Se7en. In this existing media product the opening scene features the names of the leading actors in a stand alone black screen.
7. Suspicion. (My production) Taking the idea from the film Se7en a black screen with names of the main actors featured in it were placed in. This helps the viewer understand what the film will be like by bringing over knowledge of the actors previous films.
