2.  Facebook is a very popular online social
networking hub allowing people to connect
with each other across the world. Facebook
allows members to create pages to spread
awareness on certain topics or things that
interest them such as pages to do with the
film and music industry or art. Many aspiring
artists, filmmakers or musicians will use this
to showcase their upcoming work to people
who will be interested in their work (target
audience). I will be creating a Facebook Page
to showcase my upcoming animated
production.

4.  Twitter is also a very successful social
networking app that people use to interact
with each other by ‘Tweeting’ one another.
This social network allows you to gain
followers and again, can be used to showcase
upcoming work that is produced for example,
major film production companies may have
an account on Twitter which they may use to
‘Tweet’ about upcoming events related to
the new film being released.

6.  YouTube is quite different in comparison to
Facebook and Twitter however it is still one of
the most successful online video sharing social
networks on the internet. The website allows
you to create an account in order to
share/upload video content. This is good for new
filmmakers who want to showcase the films that
they have produced and directed in order to gain
a following (also beneficial for different types of
artists, musicians and bloggers). This will be very
beneficial for me as I can upload my animated
production to YouTube which will help my
production to engage with my target audience
and to gain feedback too.
