Imaani Akinsola used various media technologies to research, plan, and evaluate their project on artist S.Dot. YouTube was used extensively to research other artists in S.Dot's genre and understand conventions of UK rap music videos. Videos and content found on YouTube could then be easily embedded on their blog. Twitter and Instagram accounts were created for S.Dot to help market and brand him as an independent artist and reach a wider audience across different social media platforms. Photos and videos from the music video production process were uploaded to these accounts to engage fans and provide updates.
