3.  Introduction :
 Sale Record System is a system which will provide information about sale of products made by
a particular production house or a company.
 Sale Record System will provide platform for analysis of sale of different products in all over
selling points.
 This will have details about sale of particular product in particular aspect. The aspect or we can
say dimension to be use for analysis will include Sale amount, Sale Year, Zone, Region, Zip
Code, Product type, Festival & season if we consider system for a commercial product sale
analysis.
 The highest sale amount & lowest Sale amount in particular region will help business analyst to
decide next strategy for sale of that particular product.
 This is one kind of Record analysis system which will provide basic or prior data for making of
any financial plan for product sale
 Scope :
 The main objective of this system is to provide a perfect analysis of sales of many products which
are maintained in system with required information of sale.
 This system will save time by giving quick information as per the dimension chosen for analysis.
This will maintain proper record of sale details of products in database which will be retrieved as
per selected options for analysis.
 This will help to make strategy for increasing sale of particular product which has low sale over a
period of time.
 Region wise analysis of product will help to decide whether to put first , new product in that
region for sale or not and how to put it for sale.
 This analysis will help to decide to combine a product with some offer or discount which has
lowest sale

4.  Problem Definition :
 Earlier there is no such system which will specifically maintain records of sale. The bills and
invoices are the only source of keeping track of sale amount.
 Earlier paper work use to maintain records in files with bills and by manually analysis use to
be held this use to take too much time and efforts
 Advantages :
1. This will save time and efforts as compare with manual analysis
2. It will reduce paperwork and maintenance of those records.
3. Quick result of chosen dimensions for analysis
 Disadvantages :
1. This is concentrating on only sale of products.
2. There is no other information maintained about product.
 Limitations :
 This is limited with information of sale of products only.
 Proposed System :
 To overcome the problems of existing system we have designed this website that reduces the time
and efforts of storing and analyze data in two different softwares.
 Earlier to analyze data we had to take data and figure out the required format or structure to show
in a chart & bars.
 To make strategy and make decisions a proper & quick data representation in form of graphical
structures this system will help in efficient way.
 This system will provide quick data analysis in graphical form & at the same time we can store &
maintain data

5.  Modules In System :
This application consists of one module & its respective functions. Those functions can be referred as
sub-modules in it & are as follow : -
1. Admin Module:- Admin module as per name performs admin side functioning in
entire application. Admin module will handle main functioning of application which is
divided into sub-modules. These modules will manage details of product sale.
The sub-modules are as follow :-
 Login Module : This Login module will consist login process of Admin. Admin can’t perform any
action or task regarding this application without log in. Login Module will basically take Admin
Login Id & Password to get access of other Sub-Modules functioning.
 Add new record : This module will help Admin to add entries of new product sale in database.
This will provide options like Add Product type, Add Region, Add Sale amount.
 Update record: This module will help Admin to update existing entries of sale of products, in
database. This will allow to update details like sale amount, zone & other dimensions.
 Delete record : This module will help Admin to delete existing entries of patients, in database. This
will provide options like Delete Basic details, Delete History, Delete Last Update.
 Search record : This module will help Admin to search existing entries of product sale in database.
This will provide options like Search by Sale amount, Search by Region, Search by zone.
 Flow Of Modules :
 Sale Record System first asks for login id & password. After it finds correct id & password
it navigates to Home Page of System.
 The Home Page has options for selecting the Main Category for Product, After selecting
main category it provides drop down list for selecting the Sub Category for product to be
analyze.

6.  Home Page also provides More options to maintain data as Add New Record, Update
Existing Record, Delete Existing Records for the products.
 Add New Record Option navigates to page for Insertion of new data which asks for required
fields as ID, Main Category, Sub Category, Year, Country, Region & Sale Amount.
 Update Existing Record option allows to update values of all above fields maintained in
database for a particular product. It is updated with help of selecting a Product ID of product
which is to be update.
 Delete Existing Record will remove all record values of particular selected product and will
update the existing data as it won’t include deleted product entry.
 Analyze option will make admin to have a graphical analysis of particular product which is
available in drop down list.
 The Top Saled Product will show list of products which has Highest selling amount for the
last year as per the Sub Category selected by admin.
 The Least Saled Product will show list of products which has Lowest selling amount for the
last year as per the Sub Category selected by admin.

RAM : - 1 GB (Minimum)

Operating System : - Windows (Windows XP, Windows 7, etc.)

Web Technology : - HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Database: - SQL Server 2008
Softwares :- Visual Studio 2010, SQL Server 2008, Tableau Desktop 10.5 for Reports analysis

This diagram shows us that how admin will perform various functions like Insert, Update ,
Delete and Analyze the records of products.

This Home Page provides options. Here Main Category is selected as Make Up and
Sub Category is Eye Liner for applying Filter option for analysis
3) Add New Record

10. Adding New Record in database with fields as Product ID, Main Category, Sub
Category, Product Name, Country, Region, Year and Sale Amount.
After inserting new Record it prompts message for successful insertion
4) Update Existing Record
Above Page allows to update record of product which is been selected by it’s ID from drop
down list. Here product Aloe Smooth Lotion which has ID = 3 has been selected for update.

11. Name of product & ID is getting updated.
After Updating product name it is showing Aloe Vera Smooth Lotion with ID=6

12. 5) Delete Existing Record
Above Page is asking to select a product which is to be deleted. Page numbering is set
which shows 3 records per page to show every record in table
Here record of ID = 2 which is Water Proof Liner Blue is selected for delete
After Deleting the record with ID = 2

13. 6) Analyze
Here Product Water Proof Liner Black has been selected for Analysis after Clicking
on Filter option in Home Page.
This above page shows graphical representation of product Water Proof Liner Black
according to Sale Amount in Year 2016 as per the Countries recorded for Sale

14. After Selecting Detail Analysis it shows data in table just like above which has
product Sub Category selected as Glossy Liner
7) Top Saled Product
After Selecting Product Sub Category it shows top Sale product as per last year,
Here Sub Category Eye Liner is selected which as listing of products according to the
highest amount of sale
8) Least Saled Product
After Selecting Product Sub Category it shows least Sale product as per last year, Here Sub
Category Eye Liner is selected which as listing of products according to the least amount of
sale

 Future Enhancement :
This Sale Record System is just concern about Sale & it don’t focus on production and
budgeting. So for better planning of strategies we can add production details and budgeting
information for good graphical analysis of data of any particular business .
