3. Meaning….
E-commerce:- is an extension of Traditional commerce
which is concerned with the activities of the business,
industry and trade, including the exchange of goods and
services,information and money….
Traditional commerce:- is where all three components are
physical. In contrast, these components are all digital at the
core of electronic commerce, where not only production, but
also delivery, payment, and consumption (reading online or
processing by a computer program) occur online.

1) An individual purchases a book on the
Internet.
2) A government employee reserves a hotel
room over the Internet.
3) A retailer orders merchandise using an
EDI network or a supplier's extranet
7. Examples Of Traditional
Commerce….
1)The traditional commerce is where all three
components are physical. I.e.;-production,
delivery ,payment.
2)Business organizations and relationships
will not be affected
3)In traditional sales, the buyer and/or the
salesman is the active party.
