About Virginia
Woolf
•Virginia Woolf was born
on 25th January 1882 and
died 1941.
•Virginia Woolf was an
English writer considered
one of the most important
modernist 20th century
authors and also a pioneer
in the use of stream of
consciousness.
•Throughout her life ,
Woolf was troubled by her
mental illness . At age of
59,woolf committed
suicide by putting rocks in
her coat pockets and
drowning herself in the
river.
About the Novel
•The novel “To The light
house “ is written by
Virginia Woolf in 1927.
•A light house is a tower at
sea or on inland
waterways.
•The novel contains three
parts The Window , Time
passes and The light
house.
•There are two main
women characters first is
Mrs. Ramsay and another
is Lily Briscoe . Both
contain different way of
thinking and accepting the
