- One of the most important, but often forgotten aspects of networking is the follow up. Keeping in touch is easy as following these tips. As time passes and you get busy people forgot who you are, follow up soon when you’re fresh on the brain. If you really want to stand out send a handwritten note; it’s a nice treat to receive a piece of mail and escape the email gridlock.
