2. What is internet of things?
Internet of things is a concept about making the
world “SMART”.
The Internet of Things is a scenario in which objects,
animals or people are provided with unique
identifiers (IP address) and the ability to transfer
data over a network without requiring human-to-
human or human-to-computer interaction. IoT has
evolved from the convergence of wireless
technology, sensors, QR codes.

3. IOT involves:
 Identifying and tracking data of things.
 Collecting and processing the data to detect changes in the
physical state of things.
 Enhancing the power of the network by devolving processesing
capabilities to different part of the network.
 Making everything to have ability to connect and interact.

Automobiles Example: safety ,vehicle diagnostics
Smart homes Example: smart thermostats ,smart lightning.
Smart city Example: smart meter, smart traffic lights.
Smart industries Example: Factory automation ,supply chain efficiency

6. Area of interest:
I would like to study internet of things in the field of data transfer and
communication and also in developing smart technologies in any field
using internet of things concept.
One thing I would like to use IOT in is stopping physical violence on
women in the country.
I would develop smart technologies in HVAC system and smart motors.
