My inspirationscome fromglue- aqueerskateboardingcompanywhomake editsof skatingone
videotheymade “smut”showstheirskatingbutalsotheirpersonalitywhichishardtodo througha
videothat’smainfocusisskateboarding.Iam also inspiredbySkateismaskate magazine forpeople
whoare “underground,overlooked,weird,andwonderful” thatinvitespeopletotheircrew
regardlessof identity,sexuality,genderorskill level.
I wouldlike tolookatwhat the people make andhow theyexpressthemselves,thiscouldmean
showingof someone’smusicandthenshowinghow theypresentthemselveswithhow theydressor
howsomeone hasmade a patch and seweditandthenshowingoff whattheyhave seweditonto
and howthishelpsthemexpresswhotheyare notjustinsexualityandgenderbuttheiridentity.
