  • I was intrigued by the 40% of structured and 31% of unstructured data providing insights. While 40% does not seem much better than 31%, we are missing important information. I see structured data as a filter to focus on what is important so suppose it is 40% of 150 pages of data versus 31% of 2,000 pages of unstructured data. This means the executive need only review 60 pages versus 620 pages to get the insights. If the 40% (60 pages) captures almost all of the insights within the 31% (620 pages) then we see a very big difference. Further, it can vbe assumed that structuring the data not only streamlined but also organized the information making it much less information that is easier to digest and gain insights. A question though is if the screening process is truly filtering out irrelevant data only.
