The key to personal development is getting started.
You’ve probably at least seen this in the book description for the acquisitions and mergers
textbook, Five Frogs on a Log, by Mark L. Feldman and Michael F. Spratt of
PricewaterhouseCoopers. Or, maybe you’ve heard John Maxwell use this story in one of his
motivational speeches on leadership or seen it in his new book, The 15 Invaluable Laws of
Growth.
The riddle:
Five frogs are sitting on a log. Four decide to jump off.
How many are left?
Answer: Five
Why? Because there’s a difference between deciding and doing.
We have decided many times to concentrate on personal development that would result in
changes in our financial situation and our lifestyle. We decided to work smarter, not harder –
by leveraging ourselves in a home‐based business. We decided to do whatever it takes to
succeed. We decided to never, ever, ever, ever, ever quit.
And there is no doubt in my mind that deciding is still the first step in personal development.
But, finally, we have started doing. But not just activity! We are doing the right things. After
years of working with good, solid MLM companies and getting nowhere, we are taking our
business and our skills in a different direction with EmpowerNetwork.com. We are making
money blogging. Using the simple, pre‐prepared blogging system provided to
EmpowerNetwork.com members, we are blogging daily – getting there anyway. How hard is
that?

2. We enjoy writing about the things that are important to us, our home, the mountains, the lake,
our cat Lucy, our lifestyle and our financial freedom. Did you know that you can make money
blogging about the things you love or enjoy doing? Yes, there’s that word again – doing!
We are blogging daily to create the long term income that will support our desired lifestyle for
the rest of our lives. Sounds too simple doesn’t it? It’s not quite magic – but it’s pretty close.
We get all the training and resources to make the changes we desire in our lifestyle — these
trainings include all the technical aspects of blogging to make money online but also the
personal development training to become the balanced, happy leaders and trainers that we
want to become.
We made the decision! All we have to do is to start “doing“. Click here to start DOING what’s
