2. Pitch
The target audience of my magazine is a mix of males and females between the ages
of 16 and 24. The readers are likely to have a high disposable income to spend on
nights out and the latest phones and mp3 players.
My magazine will cover dance music all the way from bedroom dj’s to the best
producers. I will use a mix of interviews with top producers with material
promoting up and coming dj’s. It will contain information of live music events all
other the country and provide information on new music.
The style of my magazine will be quite casual and easy to read containing a lot of
pictures and a casual style of writing. The photography used will give an insight
into the dance music scene.
My double page spread will feature a interview with an up and coming dance music
producer. It will have one main image then the interview. It will also give
information on when and where you can access the music.
