3. Union
Are all the sing inside the sets you are
uniting.
For example;
The union of sets A and B is the set of
all elements which belong to A, to B or
to both.
4. Intersection
Are the sing which are in common with
other set or sets.
For example;
A={a, s, d} b={s, f, I }
Intersection={s}
5. Difference
Is when in a set you have and element
but this element you don’t have it in
the other set.
For example;
The difference of sets A and B is the
set of elements which belong to A, but
do not belong to B.
8. Power Set
Let U be any non empty set and
let P(U) denote the set of all subsets
of U. Set P(U) is called the power set
of the set U . Elements of the
set P(U) are subsets of the set U.
