We use the present simple for:
1 permanent states:
I work in a shop.
She likes her job.
We live in London.
They speak Spanish.
2 regular activities:
I wake up at 6 a.m.
He watches TV in the morning.
We finish work at 5.30 p.m.
They don’t walk home.
