You have spent two units learning about quadratic equations, how to graph, how
to factor, and how to solve.
For your project you can choose to create a poster, a test, a lesson video, or ? ? ?
Whichever style of project you choose, it needs to include the following:
1. How to graph quadratics in standard form, 𝑦 = 𝑎𝑥!

axis of symmetry, the vertex, making a table, and an example.
2. How to graph quadratics using vertex form, 𝑦 = 𝑎 𝑥 − ℎ !

3. Explain how to factor include greatest common factor (gcf), trinomials with
a=1, and one example with a > 1, difference of squares.
4. Explain how roots/solutions/zeros/x-intercepts can be used to help when
graphing quadratics.
5. Solving quadratic equations by factoring, including some examples (be sure
to include trinomials, and difference of squares).
6. Solving quadratic equations by taking the square root of both sides, include
examples in which you need to add/subtract, or divide before taking the
square root of both sides.
7. Solving quadratic equations by using the quadratic formula include some
examples.
8. Explain how to graph the parent function, 𝑦 = 𝑥!
