• Students with Quickie 1 (elasticity) original scores which are above the following equalized scores (ES)are
automatically qualified for a Written Recitation (WR):

• Qualified students should staple a copy of their Quickie 1to the submitted WR. Failure to do so forfeits the
student's privilege to submit a WR.
• In case you are qualified under both HK-western and HK-firstborn, you must choose and submit only ONE (1)

Written Recitation (WR)
• Write a one-sheet essay (back to back at most).

equalized score) for Quickie 1as everyone else" in writing your essay.
• Your essay should discuss, but not be limited to the following:
o Describe how the application of the ESmade you feel about (a) yourself, (b) your performance, and (c)
others,
o Under which circumstances, if any, would the application of the principle of equality be acceptable to
you? Give and discuss in detail one concrete example.
o Under which circumstances, if any, would the application of the principle of equality be unacceptable to
you? Give and discuss in detail one concrete example.
o What do you think are the benefits, if any, of the ES to the beneficiaries and to non-beneficiaries?
o What do you think are the harmful effects, if any, of the ESto the beneficiaries and to non-beneficiaries?
