GeoNode 36 • New PSC elected in May and monthly PSC telcos are held • Need to appoint a new OSGeo Project Officer. • New releases during 2018: 2.8.1 and 2.10.0 (out soon) • Held the GeoNode summit in March in Turin (Italy) with ~50 attendees • Participated in Bonn Code sprint. • Big organizations involved that help to keep alive the community (The World Bank, UNESCO, IGAD, WFP, JRC, ...) • Need to increase the number of active developers as now is mainly GeoSolutions working on it • Roadmap for 3.0 is under definition • Couldn’t make to mentor a GSOC student in 2018 but is foreseen in 2019

ZOO project 50 ● Releases ○ 1.7.0 is planned to be available before the end of the year (FOSS4G-ASIA) ○ 1.8.0 is planned to be released early next year and will include the HPC support ● New developper: ○ Rémi Cresson ● Achievements: ○ The ZOO-Kernel now support R functions as first class WPS services ○ The MapServer support has been updated to enhance the quality of the produced mapfile, especially for imagery data (thanks to Rémi Cresson for his support and code) ○ The way data is downloaded and the value stored to pass to the services have been rewritten implying also some ZOO-Services rewrite to be done / reviewed ● Workshop held in Pune ISQUAREIT where FOSS4G spirit can be shared with more than 50 attendees for inaugurating the Center of Excellence in Geoinformatics, I2IT, Pune , India ● Thanks to the support of the foundation, we were able to attend the following events: ○ Bonn Code Sprint ○ Dar Es Salam event (MapMint workshop and presentation, ZOO-Project presentation)
