2. The first page of my moodboard shows a range of covers I have looked at for inspiration, the majority of my chosen covers are by ‘iD’ magazine. This is because they feature eyes on the front cover, or one eye rather; I like this idea and will create something similar. The bright bold colour palettes used on their covers also stand out to me and I will take this into consideration for my cover also.On this page I have shown a selection of double page spreads that I like the layout of, five of them share the ‘only one image’ and I may choose to do the same, I also like how images can stretch across both pages to highlight the fact it’s a double page. The following page will show the types of contents pages I have considered and the ones in which I have found inspiration to adapt my own ideas from.
3. These contents pages are taken from Fashion and Music magazines; my favourites are the Billboard and ELLE pages. The border of the ELLE one inspires me as they are images of what you will find inside the magazine. I like the abstract layout of the Billboard page though, and the blue black and white colour scheme.
