Welcome to prisma
1. Welcome to Prisma!
This is the new and improved gateway for job submission to the Education Center Print Shop.
After adding the printer “Prisma” to your workstation,(instructions for manually adding a printer can be
found in the Knowledge Base of the KACE work order system (ServiceDesk.gpisd.org)) all you have
to do to send a job to the Education Center Print Shop is simply choose the Prisma printer when you
“print”.
Do not choose any special options on this page – simply click OK and the Prisma Work Order system
will start IE and automatically connect you to the work order system.
The first time you submit a ticket you will see the following screen:
2. Fill out the profile screen.
Department
Location
Telephone #
Email Address
Enter in either your grade level or subject or area of the building
ONLY enter your campus – this is the building where your job will be delivered
Do NOT leave this blank and please use your campus extension/phone number
Enter in your GPISD email
Place a check in the “Notify me by email when the order is ready”
When completed your page should look something like this:
Click OK (You only have to enter your profile the first time you submit a job. After that, the system will
remember your profile and automatically take you to the job ticket screen)
3. A job ticket will appear – complete all the sections with the specifics of your jobs requirements:
Click submit
4. The system will submit your job and show you a screen where you can track the status of your order:
If you want to check on your order status, simply open IE and go to the following site:
http://prisma201.gpisd.org/printroom
It’s that simple.
