2. Main Problem
Childhood obesity has risen
to become a serious issue
in today's society, and
physical education time for
children is steadily
decreasing in schools
across the board.
3. Produces Physical Activity
Exergaming has been
proven to produce
substantially more minutes
of physical activity for
students to engage in
physical activity than does
the standard P.E. program
(Fogal).
4. Solution
Sincevideo games are
more appealing and
interesting to the majority
of young students, why not
incorporate them into an
enhanced P.E. lesson?
5. Conclusion
Exergaming could be
an immense step
forward in the fight to
stop childhood
obesity and I strongly
encourage P.E.
teachers to consider
the promotion it
could have towards
students health
