2. Professional Background
Tosco Muebles, S.A. de C.V., General Manager since May 2, 2007.
In charge of the administration of a manufacturing plant of kitchens, which is part of a mayor House
construction and developing group based in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Having the responsibility of the
entire manufacturing, finance, sales and costs control processes as well as an intensive sales’
expansion project to increase our participation within the regional market.
Main Achievements: Tosco Muebles has been a company venturing trough financial problems due to
the dependence of only one customer, as form part of a constructing group. When I had arrived the
company was closed to the external market, since my administration, we have achieve more
efficiency in production, cost reduction, we are now opened the company to sales to the construction
sector in the region. In one year we have commercial operations with seven mayor clients, which
have increased our sales in 50%. The financial problems have been reduced; nowadays we can say
that Tosco Muebles is in the merge to recovery.
Seguros Banamex, Senior Executive Insurance Consultant, from August 2005 to May 2007. In
charge of coordinate the sales of Insurance products trough Banamex bank branches, my position
requires negotiate to managing levels of the bank and form sales teams in the bank branches, in the
states of San Luis Potosi and Zacatecas.
Main Achievements: When I took the position in August of 2005, there was a 40% advance against
the sales goals for that year, at the end of December we have obtained a 80% advance against
goals, In 2006 we have achieved 125% of the sales goals in San Luis Potosi and 75% in Zacatecas. I
left the office in May 2007, with a sales goals achievement of the 97% in both, Zacatecas and San
Luis Potosi.
