5. Recommendations
To whom it concern:
As the EH&S director for the Rocky Mountain District of Skanska USA Civil. I am pleased to
recommend to you my business associate Jon Barry. I have worked closely with Jon over the
past two years on the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Hazardous Waste landfill project am I am very
impressed with his work.
As Site Safety Officer Jon managed the day to day operations of our safety and health program
on the site. Jon was instrumental to our success in finishing the project incident free. His work is
one of the major factors in keeping the site an OSHA VPP site. Jon worked very closely with
subcontractors, clients and regulatory oversight personnel in the development of Activity Hazard
Analysis. Jon also managed a very extensive industrial hygiene monitoring program for our
employees. This includes silica, noise, heat stress and to fugitive dust monitoring.
I whole heartedly would without any reservation recommend Jon to you. I am sure he would
be an tremendous asset to your company.
