ECONOMIC AFFAIRS DIVISION (EAD)
ORGANISATION OF EASTERN CARIBBEAN STATES
The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States is a regional grouping of nine member states
established by the Treaty of Basseterre. The Organisation invites candidates with the requisite
skills and competencies to apply for the position of Director in the Economic Affairs Division.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Director, Economic Affairs is a member of the Senior Management Team and is responsible
for the overall management and leadership of the Economic Affairs Division. The Director EAD
reports to the Director General and is guided by the Revised Treaty of Basseterre in the
execution of the duties and responsibilities of this post.
Qualifications and Competencies
Post Graduate Degree in Economics, Economic Development, Public Administration, Business
Management, other relevant social sciences or related disciplines.
At least 10 years experience in a senior leadership position.
The OECS Secretariat is headquartered in ST LUCIA. The position of Director, Economic Affairs,
is open to nationals in the OECS member states and is tenable as of 01 January, 2014.
