3. ABOUT THE PRESENTATION
My motto behind creating this presentation is not only to get Good
Marks or Grades, but also to spread Awareness among the viewers about
the Excessive Amount of Pollution & Poor Cleaning Services in our
country and the need to save our Beautiful MTHER EARTH.
But the talk is not limited only to the Poor Cleaning Services by
Municipal Corporations, my meaning behind this is the Negligence of
Humans towards our Environment.
All my dear readers/viewers, I request you to please Respect our
Earth, not to Disrespect her. I hope you all will follow my advice and will
also Like my Presentation.

4. THE NEED TO SAVE OUR
ENVIRONMENT
As we all know that PLLUTIN has always accompanied civilizations. It causes
many problems as Adverse air quality can kill many organisms including humans, and Ozone
pollution can cause many Respiratory Problems like chest pain, congestion and lung cancer.
Water pollution causes approximately 14,000 deaths per day, mostly due to contamination
of Drinking Water by untreated Sewage in Developing Countries.
Not only that, Pllution affects our MTHER EARTH also. It has been found to be present
widely in the environment. Due to pollution, soil becomes infertile as Acid Rain can be caused
due to excessive amount of Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen Oxide & Sulphur Dioxide in the
Atmosphere. It also affects Animals & Water Bodies present in out beautiful NATURE.
If more pollution will be there in the Environment, we’ll not be able to suffer anymore on this
planet. So, from today onwards only, if we start conserving our Natural Resources, our Earth
will be known as “THE GREEN PLANET”.

5. The GREEN INDIA Initiative – A Unit of TGII Foundation’s Green Projects
The Green India Initiative is CSR Consulting firm which strongly
supports and promotes environment-related initiatives undertaken by Corporate,
NGO's, and Individuals and Society at large. It executes social projects / initiatives
for Corporate in a organizing manner to invest the CSR fund for right people and
right cause. The projects / Initiative's; which will bring the sustainable
technologies into the mainstream and which will help us become more energy
independent. TGII provides its expertise for implementation clean energy resource
by working with such likeminded people who believe in the betterment for the
health of the environment. As a bright and a green tomorrow awaits it, it is our
responsibility and opportunity to join hands and create a success story for India.

6. Some popular Initiatives Taken by
“The Green India Initiative Foundation”
 Change the world
"Change the World" is a unique Initiative ofThe Green India Initiative Foundation,which is a
model making competitionout of solid waste material. This competition is undertakenby TGIIF
every year for school and college students. The main motto of this competitionis to spread a
message about "Best from Waste" amongst the youth and future of the nation.
 Green School Initiative
"Green School Initiative" is the concept of redevelopmentof existing school from Adivasi or
underprivileged studentsfrom villagesthrough utilizingthe solid waste in a unique way and
creativity.In this project they involve youth of the nation for their creative ideas and hard work
can createbest learning situate for these poor children.

7. From the above diagram, it is clear that India will be the 5th Largest
Producer of Carbon Dioxide by the year 2025 if no concern is being
emphasized on Conservation of Environment.

8. Ways to Reduce Pollution & Save Energy
 Recycle things, electronic items, clothes, etc. as much as possible.
 Use public transports. Carpooling is the best way to reduce Air
Pollution.
 Filter your own water instead of buying plastic bottles.
 Use reusable shopping bags.
 Avoid carrying goods in Plastic Bags, instead use Jute & Cloth Bags.
 Spread Awareness among your classmates, family & friends
 Take part in Environmental Conservation Programmes and Rallies.
If we’ll follow the above mentioned simple
Environmental-Conservation Steps,
definitely we will be successful in the
mission “GREEN INDIA”.
