Parents play a crucial role in their children's learning and development. The article discusses how children learn best when encouraged by loved ones like parents. It emphasizes that parents are their child's primary educators and should work as partners with schools. Good parental engagement includes guiding children, discovering their interests and learning styles, practicing lessons at home, and relating schoolwork to real-world situations. When parents are actively involved in this way, it helps children build independence and responsibility in their education.

The Role Parents Play In Their
Children’s Learning
Children learn best when they are encouraged and motivated by the ones they
love dearly. Often, parents forget about the partnership that has to be developed
between them, the school, and other families, to better improve their child’s
education.
Parents and guardians must remember that they are the primary and continuing
educators of their children. Research suggests that the teacher quality, which
includes standards and training in parental engagement, is crucial for facilitating
e ective parental engagement. Parents must know that they are their children’s
role model for learning. By guiding and reminding their kids, they help and
support the desires of the young ones to discover new things in and out of school.

Finding what sparks curiosity in a child’s mind is a job for the parents; by this,
they would know what kind of learner their child is. Observing how a child learns
would help parents in explaining tough topics in such a way that the child would
be able to follow and learn quickly. It’s important for parents and guardians to
practice at home what the child has learned in school.
Another crucial thing for improving the learning abilities of a child is for their
parents to connect school lessons to real-life situations. By doing this, parents
create awareness in their child’s mind of what the world is going through, and
how it can be helped. Independence in learning can be instilled by parents in their
children if they are motivated and encouraged to be responsible for their
successes and mistakes.
