 Both users can be geographically apart.

 The business conduced and the services offered
by a bank are called banking.
 We can say that banking is an industry that
handles cash , credit and other financial
transactions.

 Banking is now no more limited in going and
visiting the bank in person for various purposes
like depositing and withdrawing money,
requesting for account statement, stop a payment,
etc.
 You can do all these tasks and many more using
the online services offered by the banks.
 You can also keep a track of your account
transactions and balance all the time.

 Internet Banking refers to the banking services
provided by the banks over the internet.
 The earliest version of internet banking began in
New York City in 1981.
 The first successful internet-only bank was called
NetBank and was founded in 1996.

might be difficult for a beginner at the first go.
 Not possible without internet connection.
 Security issue (hacking by unauthorized person, fraud ,ID
theft)
 Password security is must.
 Sometimes it becomes difficult to note whether
your transaction was successful or not. (due to the loss
of net connectivity in between, or due to a slow connection, or the bank’s server
is down.)

 Change your password regularly.
 Do not use public computers to login .(never save your
username and password in browser)
 Do not share your details with anyone. (bank never
asks for confidential information via phone or email)

official login page of the bank, which should be a
secure website.
 Look for 'https://' in the URL when logging in; it
means that the website is secure.
