It is the rearing of
fish and other aquatic
products from their
very young stage.
3. A. FISH PEN METHOD
This is a square or rectangular
pen which is constructed in the
shallow lakes. The sides are
enclosed with nets. Bamboos and
wood are used as posts.

5. B. FISHPOND METHOD
The water in the pond is either
fresh or marine. The pond may be
dug and the water maybe
supplied into it, or it may be just a
natural pond with water.

7. C. OPEN-WATER METHOD
This method is used in
cultivating mussels, oysters
and clams. This is done in
bays, seas and lagoons.
