Responsibilities: Performed research to develop an in-depth understanding of the refuse, bus,
and pile driving markets. Performed competitive analysis of the division’s top competitors.
Researched the feasibility of adding new products into the division’s product offering. Performed
data entry to track inventory levels and changes within the product offering. Created and
analyzed surveys that were sent out to both the field sales team and Parker distributors to learn
about hose failures and opinions on new products. Prepared presentation materials for both
internal and customer presentations.

Responsibilities: Conducted research on industry paint requirements to lead to the selection of a
uniform paint specification to be used by the division. Worked in the prototyping department
creating various hydraulic valve samples. Worked in the engineering lab aiding in the setup and
running of impulse cycle testing.

Responsibilities: Conducted research on the use and implementation of bar codes in industry to
lead to their use on Parker Products. Processed year end division safety reports into a master
file.
2. Project Work:
• Aided in creating a housing survey for Trine University to gain a better understanding of how the
student population views the living conditions on campus.
• Created advertisements ranging from radio ads to billboards for a West Virginia regional product,
Up the Creek Mustard.
• Worked with the City of Angola to survey constituents about city services to build brand equity.
• Worked with Heavenly Breads & Sweets, a new Angola business, to create a complete marketing
plan to help improve brand recognition and customer retention.
• Conducted consumer research to support the startup of a vineyard in Indiana. The topics that
were researched included customer profiles and industry trends.
• Created a business plan for the implementation of a smart grid for REMC, the local electrical co-
op.
• Created a marketing plan for Earth Friendly Recyclers LLC, an Angola electronic waste recycler,
to help gain recognition within the local community.
