3. “Un Techo Para mi País”
Un Techo para mi país is a non-profit organization led by
youth from different countries of Latin America.

4. “Un Techo Para mi País”
It aims to promote awareness among young people on
how important it is that those in need have a home. By
2011 it had built over 78,000 emergency homes and had
more than 400,000 volunteers.

It was created in Chile and rapidly expanded into almost
every country in Latin America.

6. “Un Techo Para mi País”
I introduced the organization into México in 2006 along
with two other Mexican friends and another one from
Chile and I’ve been a volunteer since then.

7. Personal Opinion
I want to make a difference in the world; I want to make
things better. I know it is not a simple task and that if I
want to accomplish my goal I will need to make a big
effort, but I also know that it is possible and that I will
make it happen. I want to be a part of the group of people
that actually did something for the world. That´s what
drives my work, my ambition and most of my life.

8. Personal Opinion
I can honestly say that this has been one of the
experiences from which I’ve learned the most, both, from
a personal and a professional perspective.
