Industry-First Innovation: GE Healthcare Unveils Novel Contrast-Enhanced
Mammography Solution for Biopsy
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com
5
Solution Description
To help empower clinicians and patients in their fight against breast cancer, GE Healthcare introduced Serena Bright™*, the
healthcare industry’s first contrast-enhanced mammography solution for biopsy. Interventional and biopsy procedures are a
necessary step in most breast cancer diagnoses. Previously, for lesions not seen on mammography or ultrasound,
contrast-enhanced biopsy was typically performed with breast MR, which can be more time-consuming, uncomfortable and
costly for patients. With Serena Bright, breast biopsy exams can now be done with the same mammography equipment and in the
same room as the screening or diagnostic mammogram. This can help save time, lessen costs and ultimately help improve the
patient experience.Key to this revolutionary change in breast care is GE Healthcare’s SenoBright™ HD Contrast Enhanced
Spectral Mammography (CESM), a diagnostic imaging tool that can detect malignant lesions not seen on mammography or
ultrasound in certain cases. By highlighting areas of unusual blood flow to help localize lesions that need to be biopsied, CESM
biopsy – Serena Bright – helps improve radiologists’ diagnostic confidence with the ultimate goal of getting answers to patients
as quickly as possible.

NVIDIA Enables Era of Interactive Conversational AI with New
Inference Software
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com
12
Solution Description
NVIDIAintroduced groundbreaking inference software that developers everywhere can use to deliver conversational AI applications, slashing inference latency that until
now has impeded true, interactive engagement. NVIDIATensorRT™ 7 — the seventh generation of the company’s inference software development kit — opens the door
to smarter human-to-AI interactions, enabling real-time engagement with applications such as voice agents, chatbots and recommendation engines. It is estimated that
there are 3.25 billion digital voice assistants being used in devices around the world, according to Juniper Research. By 2023, that number is expected to reach 8 billion,
more than the world’s total population. TensorRT 7 features a new deep learning compiler designed to automatically optimize and accelerate the increasingly complex
recurrent and transformer-based neural networks needed for AI speech applications. This speeds the components of conversational AI by more than 10x compared to
when run on CPUs, driving latency below the 300-millisecond threshold considered necessary for real-time interactions. Some of the world’s largest, most innovative
companies are already taking advantage of NVIDIA’s conversational AI acceleration capabilities. Among these is Sogou, which provides search services to WeChat, the
world’s most frequently used application on mobile phones.TensorRT 7 speeds up a growing universe of AI models that are being used to make predictions on time-series,
sequence-data scenarios that use recurrent loop structures, called RNNs. In addition to being used for conversational AI speech networks, RNNs help with arrival time
planning for cars or satellites, prediction of events in electronic medical records, financial asset forecasting and fraud detection. An explosion of combinations for RNN
configurations and functions has created a challenge to rapidly deploy production code that meets real-time performance criteria — causing months-long delays while
developers created hand-written code optimizations. As a result, conversational AI has been limited to the few companies with the necessary talent.

SYSGO demonstrates Secure Automotive Connectivity Platform at CES
2020
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com
14
Solution Description
At the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 in Las Vegas (January 7-10, 2020), SYSGO will present its vision of a secure and networked automotive
future: With the Secure Automotive Connectivity Platform (SACoP), SYSGO offers a fully integrated software framework for secure administration and data exchange
and thus takes into account the growing challenges of connected vehicles. The platform guarantees information security by protecting data transfer through strict
encapsulation and separation of all communication channels. This partitioning is supplemented by a secure boot process, an integrated intrusion detection system and a
firewall. The platform uses the hypervisor technology of the real-time operating system (RTOS) PikeOS from SYSGO, which enables critical and non-critical
infrastructures to be operated simultaneously with one system. By using the hypervisor functionality in PikeOS to execute applications in strictly separate partitions,
security-critical applications in particular can be executed without interference in a given time frame. The platform is pre-certified according to the Common Criteria
EAL3 + security standard and ISO 26262 security standard for the automotive industry. This is an advantage because only a single hardware system is required when
planning the software architecture, which reduces development and production costs and accelerates the market launch. The platform offers a flexible software
framework,At CES, SYSGO shows a prototype implementation of the SACoP platform, consisting of an STM Telemaco3P processor and an R-CAR H3 board from
Renesas. The Renesas board realizes a digital cockpit display based on Automotive Grade Linux (AGL) and an infotainment system (IVI) in the vehicle. The Telemaco
3P processor is the connection to the outside world and acts as a secure gateway. It is also used to supply tablets and smartphones to passengers with Internet access. The
software is based on PikeOS together with ELinOS, the robust, long-term supported and automotive-compatible Linux distribution from SYSGO.

GE Research Developing AI to Allow Safe Operation of Critical Energy
Infrastructure through a Cyber-Attack
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com

The Digital Ghost team at GE Research has been awarded a $5.2 million project from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of
Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response to develop new cyber protection technologies intended to allow critical energy
infrastructure like natural gas pipelines to operate safely during a cyber-attack. This capability is at the core of GE Research’s Digital Ghost
cyber-physical defense solution and aligned with advanced technology developments the DOE is supporting to safeguard America’s energy
infrastructure. GE’s Digital Ghost represents a new paradigm in protecting industrial assets and systems from malicious cyber-attacks.
Originated and developed at GE’s Research Lab, Digital Ghost provides an additional layer of protection beyond the traditional IT/OT
firewalls by combining AI and machine learning technologies with sensing and controls to rapidly detect, locate and neutralize
cyber-attacks.Nielsen explained that being able to map and understand the physics of complex systems such as a natural gas pipeline will
allow operators to more quickly detect when and where a cyber-attack may be occurring and how to thwart it. To do this, the project team will
create a Digital Twin, or digital model, of a normal operating pipeline and compare that to the actual physical operations of the system. When
some aspect of the physical operations fall outside the normal operating mode, advanced algorithms using machine learning and controls will
be used to learn where the anomaly is occurring and then act to restore normal operations.

GE Healthcare Life Sciences and Advanced Solutions Life Sciences (ASLS) will enter into a strategic R&D and distribution partnership that sets out to
personalize tissue regeneration. The integration of IN Cell Analyzer and BioAssemblyBot® systems technologies will embed cellular-level assessments into
the 3D-bioprinting workflow used to create human tissue models. Bioprinted tissues are small in size and die quickly, due to an inability to engineer small
blood vessels – the body’s supply network. ASLS’ patented Angiomics® technology enables bioprintedmicrovessels to self-assemble into functional
capillary beds, which deliver nutrients, oxygen, and hormones to the 3D tissue model and remove waste. This partnership would allow life scientists and
tissue engineers to quickly design, build and image living, vascularized 3D tissues in a single, agile process.Traditional 3D bioprinters are not designed for
quality or interoperability with the high-throughput screening methods that pharmaceutical developers use to identify drug candidates. This alliance will
result in a new product to address this challenge: an integration of GE Healthcare Life Sciences’ IN Cell Analyzer confocal imaging platform with IN Carta
cell analysis software, and ASLS’ BioAssemblyBot® 3D bioprinter with TSIM® design software. For pharmaceutical companies, where the average time to
develop a new drug candidate may take over seven years, moving from traditional stage-gate testing processes to a lean, agile workcell for 3D tissue
fabrication and assessments will shorten development timelines. The integration between IN Cell Analyzer and BioAssemblyBot® enables the automated
inclusion of cellular imaging information into the tissue modeling process so that new therapies can be scaled more quickly and effectively.

Honeywell, iTRACE and SecureMarking Combat Counterfeit Activity in

Honeywell is working with iTRACE and SecureMarking to bring transparency and increased security to the e-commerce market of aerospace
products via blockchain technology. This first-of-its-kind process in the aerospace market will greatly simplify the complex regulatory and
supply-chain landscape in the industry. Under the new process, the moment a part comes off the Honeywell assembly line, the identification
plate receives a two-factor authentication marking. First, iTRACE's 2DMI data matrix is laser-etched onto the identification plate. Next, an
invisible, high-security ink, provided by Honeywell's Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) business and SecureMarking, a
third-party authentication company, is applied. Finally, the iTRACE mobile app scans the 2D matrix and activates the digital authenticity
record for the part. This data, along with the part's birth information, is recorded on Honeywell's digital blockchain ledger. Because the
two-factor authentication always follows the part from the time of installation until it is taken out of service, the results of this process are a
reduction in counterfeit parts and a more dependable supply chain for manufacturers.Honeywell's blockchain is a highly secure, decentralized
database that is crowd-sourced by all its authorized users. Each user that Honeywell allows has a copy of the database and knows its contents
in real time. Like fans watching a football game in the stands, these users can look at the scoreboard to see the same data simultaneously.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nib Solution Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable AVEVA’s Value Chain Optimization Solutions Enhance Enterprise Col- laboration and Agility For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com 3 Solution Description AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, announced enhancements to its Value Chain Optimization offering to enable customers to eliminate information silos and integrate critical business processes across the operational value chain. AVEVA’s Value Chain Optimization solution, in recent news, brings together software from across its portfolio that help operators and manufacturers manage their supply chain, operations and process optimization across key industries including Refining, Petrochemicals, Metals, Mining and Materials, Food and Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Water and Wastewater. It also helps operators drive efficiency, make better and faster decisions, reduce cost and create new opportunities across the operations value chain.Industrial operations have grown over the last 20 years with poor integration from a legacy of point solutions involving manual data transfer or custom software which has resulted in operational silos across the value chain. AVEVA’s strategy helps organizations address these challenges and create a collaborative environment instead of business or process silos. In this way the operations lifecycle can be managed in a comprehensive, flexible and connected manner that brings transparency to the decision-making process across the value chain.AVEVA’s Value Chain Optimization is already successfully deployed by several multinational companies globally: • Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) recently reported benefits of $60-100M USD from integrated production planning • BP Plc has cut crude purchase decision time from two days to less than two hours • New Belgium Brewing has decreased downtime by more than 50% and increased the efficiency of scheduled run time 25% - 30% • Roy Hill worked closely with AVEVA to develop a greenfield iron ore mining site, connecting the entire value chain with industry leading efficiency from pit to port

  • 11. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nib Solution Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable Industry-First Innovation: GE Healthcare Unveils Novel Contrast-Enhanced Mammography Solution for Biopsy For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com 5 Solution Description To help empower clinicians and patients in their fight against breast cancer, GE Healthcare introduced Serena Bright™*, the healthcare industry’s first contrast-enhanced mammography solution for biopsy. Interventional and biopsy procedures are a necessary step in most breast cancer diagnoses. Previously, for lesions not seen on mammography or ultrasound, contrast-enhanced biopsy was typically performed with breast MR, which can be more time-consuming, uncomfortable and costly for patients. With Serena Bright, breast biopsy exams can now be done with the same mammography equipment and in the same room as the screening or diagnostic mammogram. This can help save time, lessen costs and ultimately help improve the patient experience.Key to this revolutionary change in breast care is GE Healthcare’s SenoBright™ HD Contrast Enhanced Spectral Mammography (CESM), a diagnostic imaging tool that can detect malignant lesions not seen on mammography or ultrasound in certain cases. By highlighting areas of unusual blood flow to help localize lesions that need to be biopsied, CESM biopsy – Serena Bright – helps improve radiologists’ diagnostic confidence with the ultimate goal of getting answers to patients as quickly as possible.

NVIDIATensorRT™ 7 — the seventh generation of the company’s inference software development kit — opens the door to smarter human-to-AI interactions, enabling real-time engagement with applications such as voice agents, chatbots and recommendation engines. It is estimated that there are 3.25 billion digital voice assistants being used in devices around the world, according to Juniper Research. By 2023, that number is expected to reach 8 billion, more than the world’s total population. TensorRT 7 features a new deep learning compiler designed to automatically optimize and accelerate the increasingly complex recurrent and transformer-based neural networks needed for AI speech applications. This speeds the components of conversational AI by more than 10x compared to when run on CPUs, driving latency below the 300-millisecond threshold considered necessary for real-time interactions. Some of the world’s largest, most innovative companies are already taking advantage of NVIDIA’s conversational AI acceleration capabilities. Among these is Sogou, which provides search services to WeChat, the world’s most frequently used application on mobile phones.TensorRT 7 speeds up a growing universe of AI models that are being used to make predictions on time-series, sequence-data scenarios that use recurrent loop structures, called RNNs. In addition to being used for conversational AI speech networks, RNNs help with arrival time planning for cars or satellites, prediction of events in electronic medical records, financial asset forecasting and fraud detection. An explosion of combinations for RNN configurations and functions has created a challenge to rapidly deploy production code that meets real-time performance criteria — causing months-long delays while developers created hand-written code optimizations. As a result, conversational AI has been limited to the few companies with the necessary talent.

Customer Success Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable GE Research Developing AI to Allow Safe Operation of Critical Energy Infrastructure through a Cyber-Attack For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com 22 The Digital Ghost team at GE Research has been awarded a $5.2 million project from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response to develop new cyber protection technologies intended to allow critical energy infrastructure like natural gas pipelines to operate safely during a cyber-attack. This capability is at the core of GE Research’s Digital Ghost cyber-physical defense solution and aligned with advanced technology developments the DOE is supporting to safeguard America’s energy infrastructure. GE’s Digital Ghost represents a new paradigm in protecting industrial assets and systems from malicious cyber-attacks. Originated and developed at GE’s Research Lab, Digital Ghost provides an additional layer of protection beyond the traditional IT/OT firewalls by combining AI and machine learning technologies with sensing and controls to rapidly detect, locate and neutralize cyber-attacks.Nielsen explained that being able to map and understand the physics of complex systems such as a natural gas pipeline will allow operators to more quickly detect when and where a cyber-attack may be occurring and how to thwart it. To do this, the project team will create a Digital Twin, or digital model, of a normal operating pipeline and compare that to the actual physical operations of the system. When some aspect of the physical operations fall outside the normal operating mode, advanced algorithms using machine learning and controls will be used to learn where the anomaly is occurring and then act to restore normal operations. This partnership would allow life scientists and tissue engineers to quickly design, build and image living, vascularized 3D tissues in a single, agile process.Traditional 3D bioprinters are not designed for quality or interoperability with the high-throughput screening methods that pharmaceutical developers use to identify drug candidates. This alliance will result in a new product to address this challenge: an integration of GE Healthcare Life Sciences’ IN Cell Analyzer confocal imaging platform with IN Carta cell analysis software, and ASLS’ BioAssemblyBot® 3D bioprinter with TSIM® design software. For pharmaceutical companies, where the average time to develop a new drug candidate may take over seven years, moving from traditional stage-gate testing processes to a lean, agile workcell for 3D tissue fabrication and assessments will shorten development timelines. The integration between IN Cell Analyzer and BioAssemblyBot® enables the automated inclusion of cellular imaging information into the tissue modeling process so that new therapies can be scaled more quickly and effectively. The new facility will provide large quantities of high-quality recombinant adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors for preclinical research. The facility will be housed on the University of Massachusetts Medical School’s Worcester campus. Preclinical research capabilities are limited due to a lack of large- scale viral vector manufacturing facilities. Researchers often have to wait 12 to 24 months to secure enough vector for their research. This large scale AAV manufacturing facility will alleviate the bottlenecks that delay the start of preclinical research. Additionally, researchers will have access to GE Healthcare’s processing equipment and the assistance of professional staff at the facility helping to get their research to the clinic faster. The facility will be 3,220 square feet and will feature a good laboratory practice (GLP) viral vector FlexFactoryTM. Four to six professional staff will manage the day-to-day operation and the facility will be fully operational in 2020.GE Healthcare Life Sciences helps therapy innovators, researchers and healthcare providers accelerate how precision diagnostics and therapies are invented, made and used. This first-of-its-kind process in the aerospace market will greatly simplify the complex regulatory and supply-chain landscape in the industry. Under the new process, the moment a part comes off the Honeywell assembly line, the identification plate receives a two-factor authentication marking. First, iTRACE's 2DMI data matrix is laser-etched onto the identification plate. Next, an invisible, high-security ink, provided by Honeywell's Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) business and SecureMarking, a third-party authentication company, is applied. Finally, the iTRACE mobile app scans the 2D matrix and activates the digital authenticity record for the part. This data, along with the part's birth information, is recorded on Honeywell's digital blockchain ledger. Because the two-factor authentication always follows the part from the time of installation until it is taken out of service, the results of this process are a reduction in counterfeit parts and a more dependable supply chain for manufacturers.Honeywell's blockchain is a highly secure, decentralized database that is crowd-sourced by all its authorized users. Each user that Honeywell allows has a copy of the database and knows its contents in real time. Like fans watching a football game in the stands, these users can look at the scoreboard to see the same data simultaneously. Description

Marketing & EventsThe first agreement is a framework agreement for follow on technical support of systems that KONGSBERG has delivered to the Norwegian Armed Forces. The signing parties are Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace and NDLO. KONGSBERG will support the Norwegian Armed Forces with maintenance and engineering services on equipment on board the Navy's vessels. This includes the breadth of the company's portfolio, from missile systems and weapon stations to command / control and navigation systems. The agreement continues and expands KONGSBERG's previously signed framework agreement with the Norwegian Armed Forces, and the annual minimum scope is NOK 71 million for the first years. The second agreement was signed between Kongsberg Aviation Maintenance Services and NDLO and is related to maintenance and support of the Norwegian NH-90 helicopter fleet. The agreement will initially apply for the years 2020-2026, and there will be annual calls from the agreement. The estimated value is about NOK 400 million distributed over the first four years, subject to it being renegotiated after two years. Maintenance will mainly be carried out at the Bardufoss main base. This means that existing expertise on helicopter maintenance will be utilized, both from KONGSBERG and Finnish Patria. The latter already supports the Norwegian Armed Forces in the maintenance of NH-90 helicopters in Bardufoss. In addition, KONGSBERG recognise the need to further strengthen the business with new hires. It is a clear ambition to gradually increase the operational availability of the NH-90 helicopters in the years to come. Description
