Asturian myths & legends

2.  The myth tells us about an owner of a castle
was a noble gentleman,the man of all the
hills, a meryless and pacient man,he
prefered waching his posessionsrather than
fighting on the wars.

3.  Like in many myth this man had only one
daughter, called Florinda , everyone in the
village liked her, she had mercy ,she was
pretty.
 Because that, all the other gentelmans of
the surroundings walked throw the castle
with thier horses,with the hope that the could
take the hand of Florinda,hopefully the most
pretty jewllery of his father.

4.  But,the girl didnt married with anyone of
them ,when they failed they conform
themselves being friend,loving her in the
distance, praying and hopeing that one day
she change her mind.Only the gantelman of
Buelga(Parroquia de Langreo)persisted, and
with the time he won the simpathy of the
gentleman of Blimea,that at last gave him
the hand of her daughter.

5.  One day the father called her and telled that
she was going to get married with the
gentleman of Buelga, suddenly the eyes of
the girl turned scary and after they started to
cry,his father couldnt let her daughter like
that and asked why she was like that,she
said she has already gived her heart to an
other men

6.  His father didnt mind if she changed his mind
she could marry with an other gentleman,so
he asked her of his name,he was of an
gantelmn family ,no?
 She only turned his head down and cried, his
father couldnt belived she has fell in love with a
normal person(on those times they saw the only
thing normal was that daughter married with
gentelmans )

7.  His father raged and shouted,Florinda that
never saw his father like that she said that
she will never tell is name,if she married with
someone that will be that man.After that his
father locked her on her room and hurried
the wedding with the gantelman

8.  The days past and finally the wedding was
there, when the gantelman of Blimea runned to
open the door because he herd a loud noise,
the first yhing he saw whas a boy with a knife
covered on blood,the gantlemen asked what
happend and the boy said; “She loved me since
we were child, when she knew that she was
going to marry se telled me that she prefered
dieying by the man she loved that marring with
someone else”

9.  The father knew thatthe girl was her
daughter,his legs stop working he stared crying
and,in the deep on hes heart he knew that a
part of that was his fault because you cant force
someone to love,Blimea´s gentalman telled the
boy that he accept the sorry,but suddently the
boy said”I accept that you agree but i cant live
with out her”and after with the knife that still had
the blood of Florinda he stabbed himself on the
heart and fell over the feet of Blimeas´s
gantelman
