3. Very often our work revolves around helping organizations position themselves for the
future - not always an easy task. Look around us: a few years ago, would any of us have
predicted the University of Nebraska would be a member of the Big Ten Conference and
Creighton University a member of the Big East Conference? Would we have imagined
back then that soon we would use our cell phones to do banking, serve as our own GPS or
identify the best pricing in other stores as we shop?
While it is impossible to predict what the future holds, we can help initiate strategies that
will best position organizations for growth and success, regardless of the unforeseen. Since
1987, Iridian Group has been doing just that. Our success has always been very much tied
to that of our clients and I am so proud of the role we have played in helping so many.

It’s fun to look back and reflect on everything that’s happened, and that we’ve been privileged
enough to be a part of over the past year. Below are a few selections that stood out to us as notable
events in 2014.
Our design team always looks forward to participating in the American Advertising
Federation’s annual Meet the Pros event in Omaha. This year, Dawn and Ashley spent
a February afternoon reviewing student portfolios and offering advice and suggestions
to future graphic designers who attended the event from across Nebraska and Iowa.
Iridian Group was honored to be recognized as a 2014 Best of Omaha Business-to-
Business winner in the Website Developer Category.

The annual Field Paper Show is another event our design team attends annually.
This year, we were treated to a wide array of paper samples from multiple vendors,
followed by lunch and a truly inspirational presentation by Daniel Dejan of Sappi.
At the end of this year, the whole team took a much needed and enjoyable field trip
together. It was a beautiful day to get out of the office, have lunch as a group, and
visit the Joslyn Art Museum to view the Andy Warhol Exhibit and Omaha’s recently
uncovered Rembrandt painting. We had a great time!
