PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
With a solid foundation in the classic arts supporting my career in digital content, (i.e. anat-
omy, life drawing, perspective, color theory, fontography and layout utilizing traditional tools
such as ink, pen, pencil, paint and brush) I can take a project from a pencil sketch idea to a
fully formed product. After studying at the American Academy of Art in Chicago I spent eight
years at a Chicago area Ad Agency. Many of my designs were featured on store shelves
nationwide. These included Life Savers Jelly Beans, Andes Candies, Tootsie Roll, Dubble
Bubble and many more. My passion for good design and 3-D illustration skills enable me to
successfully develop and produce product, branding and marketing pieces.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
With so many notable accomplishments the following is a small sampling of
original designs I created that were sold in stores nationwide.
• Designed the grand reopening package for Fannie May Candies in Chicago.
My design was selected by marketing team from a large pool of designers.
• Designed and created a sales marketing kit which included packaging and display designs
for the launch of Andes Candies Baking chips. Product, packaging and displays were sold
in major chain stores nationwide with great success in 2007.
• Designed all packaging and displays for Andes seasonal Easter candies in 2008. The dis-
play and candy sleeve featured original watercolors I created and incorporated into digital
art. The design was so successful it was used for three consecutive years and sold in Wal-
greens and big box stores nationwide.
• Created a full size concept of a gum ball machine package for the Ford Gum Company. Cli-
ent chose my design and the design was printed and sold into various retail stores in May
of 2007

Colorado. The video featured the honored guests and was directly responsible for the most

brought to liquor stores nationwide in October of 2010.

successfully sold in all Colorado Costco stores.
• As the sole marketing designer, I successfully created all artwork for the start up of Paulaner
HP|USA, a new U.S. beer and wine distributorship under extremely tight deadlines. Worked
with German counterparts to maintain branding standards in U.S. I was able to create all
trade show, vehicle, introductory ads, billboards, restaurant collateral , ad specialty items,
and sales support material for seven beer and wine brands being introduced October 2009
in Las Vegas. My designs were successfully used to introduce and distribute all brands
nationwide.
• Designs consistently chosen for package design, typography (logos), and characters by
the Tootsie, Wrigley, Dubble Bubble, Ferrara Pan, Wylers, and Concord Corporations. The
following packaging designs were sold in stores nationwide. Tootsie “Tear Jerker” cotton
candy, Ford Gum Carousel Gumball machine, Wrigley Easter “Sweet Pops”, Dubble Bubble
