How do teachers implementing the ISSN framework put Action into the component, "Taking Action” without the project consuming the learning? The ISSN Performance Assessment Shells and SAGE are tools teachers can use to incorporate project-based learning activities into their curriculum that are specifically designed to address the four domains of global competence. This session will provide an overview of specific project-based learning components in conjunction with ISSN resources. Explore the use of SAGE and the Performance Assessment Design Shells as elements necessary to support students in Taking Action. Participants will interact with each other to discuss challenges and successes of project implementation. Participants will leave with exposure to a number of ISSN resources and an understanding of the essential project-based learning components necessary to empower students to Take Action on Global issues.
