Participants will learn how to develop an effective relationship and international exchange program with a Chinese school. This session will help those in attendance discover how to develop an international school partnership and discover the incredible benefits. Session attendees will learn about the impact these partnerships can have on students, staff and families. The audience will hear firsthand accounts from those who participated in our past exchange programs. The panel will also present creative ways to fund the program and important tips on sustaining and maintaining long-term relationships with Chinese partner schools.

Curriculum Development Blueprint Education Accreditation Independent Travel Study I This is online course that will help a student to recognize differences and similarities among the ways people earn a living, behave, dress, and talk, between one's home area and other areas. The student will also learn about the history, geography, architecture, art, culture, and the customs of the areas visited. Through the final 10 page paper, the student will improve skills of organizing, writing, and editing a paper. Students must submit an itinerary for pre-approval prior to registering for class. Travel/trip should be at least 7 days long to qualify for this course and its ½ credit. North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA); moreover, the curriculum has been approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
