1. SECOND SUNDAY OF LENT (25-2-2018)
NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
1. During the season of Lent, Stations of the Cross is being held on Friday at 6.30 in Konkani and
Saturday at 6.30 in English.
2. There will be a short meeting with the parents of the FHC today/tomorrow after the 8.15 am mass in
the A V Hall. Attendance is compulsory.
3. The Bible quest 29 will be held today/tomorrow. As there are more than 120 participants, please
occupy 4 classrooms one participant on each desk.
4. The animators training session organised by the Laity training centre for the Andheri deanery parishes
will be held today/tomorrow. Further details are shared in the parish WhatsApp group.
5. The March PPC meeting will be held on coming Sunday, 4th March.
6. The annual Eco Kids rally will be held on coming Sunday, 4th March from 3 to 5 pm. All are welcome.
For this year rally, there will be action song contest ‘chodo plastic thaili’ and trophy and prize
distribution for the top eco kids clubs and online eco quiz winners. Eco Kids animators please send
your final version of the video and enlist your names online before coming Wednesday, 28th February.
Also submit your February feedback report before Wednesday. During the rally, the Suraksha Mahila
Mandal group will be keeping an exhibition stall of cloth bags prepared from the sarees collected by the
eco kids during the saree collection drive of last month. These colourful cloth bags in different designs
will be available at subsidised rates.
7. The Lenten Konkani retreat preached by Fr Francis Fernandes, SVD will be held on 10/11th March.
8. The next Made in Heaven get-together for eligibles looking out for marriage proposals will be held on
the following Sunday, March 11. Eligibles of our parish are encouraged to take advantage of this facility
provided by the parish. Register your names in the parish office.
9. The Annual All Mumbai Walking Pilgrimage to Pray for Peace will be held on 17th March 2018,
starting from Cross Maidan at 10.30 P.M. and terminating at Mount Mary’s Basilica, Bandra on
18th March 2018. For further details see poster on the notice board.
10. For admission details for St Margaret’s teachers training college and BSc nursing course of Holy Spirit
hopsital see notice board.
11. Last Sunday collections amounted to Rs . Thank you for your generosity.
12. (9.30 am mass) Today’s liturgy is animated by SCC 14. Coming Sunday liturgy will be animated by
SCC 15.
