NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
1. (sat/sun. 8.15) The sacrament of Confirmation will be administered By Bishop Percival Fernandez to 22 of or
young boys and girls today/tomorrow at the 10.00 am mass. Requesting you to kindly keep them in your
prayers.
2. The January Eco kids project will be held today/tomorrow in the AV hall. Further details have already been
announced. PPC members/Eco Kids animators collect the set of entry coupons from parish office or from Fr
Felix after the mass. Eco kids please bring your entry passes and show them when you enter the hall.
3. The January Bible Questwill be held on coming Sunday, 22nd January in the Gospel of John chapters 1 to 10.
PPC members please enlist the number of participants online with Fr Felix before Wednesday.
4. The novenas in preparation for our parish feast will begin from coming Friday 20th January 2017. Every day, the
novena mass in Konkani will be celebrated at 6.30 pm. This will be followed by the recitation of novena praye r
in Tamil followed by the novena mass in English at 7.30 p.m. The feast mass will be celebrated in the morning
at 9 a.m. on Sunday 29th January 2017. Two mass intention boxes one for the 6.30 pm and the other for the
7.30 pm mass will be placed at the altar for the novena masses. Accordingly, you may drop in your intentions
along with the mass offering in these boxes.
5. On 29th January evening we will have the Parish Fete starting at 5 p.m. Coupons for the same are available
with your PPC members for Rs 75/- both for children and adults.
6. The first round of the Community games will be held on Saturday 21st January evening after the English novena
mass and on Sunday 22nd January morning after the 9.30 am mass in the Church extension or basement. Your
PYC members and PPC animators will inform you about the same. Last date for registration is 18th January
2017.
7. Sunday, 12th February 2017 will be celebrated as World Marriage Day. On this occasion, the family cell of our
parish invites all married couples for the 5.30 p.m. mass, in which we will have a special blessing for all the
married couples ofour parish. This will be followed by a get-together cum dinner for the married couples in the
A V Hall. Kindly give in your names with a registration fee of Rs 100/- per couple in the Parish office or to Fr.
Henry. Last date for registration 5th February 2017. Hoping to see as many of you both young and old at this
gathering.
8. Infant Jesus High school will be organising a Mega Eco Quiz for parents, students and ex-students of our
school as a Golden jubilee project on Sunday, 12th February. The entry forms and other details of the quiz will
be available to all students after the unit test. You can also download the entry form from infantjesusjogeshwari

9. The PYC thanks all those who participated and helped outin making Talent Dhamaka a success. Prize winners
kindly collect your prizes from Fr. Henry.

confirmation students, I would like to thank Bishop Percival Fernandez for confirming our youth and celebrating
the Mass. Also, myself and Fr Henry would also like to thank the parents for your involvement and journeying
