1. Today, 12th February we celebrated World Marriage Day. Today/tomorrow, we will have a special
blessing for all the married couples at the 5.30 p.m. mass. This will be followed by a get-together cum
dinner for the married couples in the A V Hall.
2. There will be a meeting for parents ofFirst Holy Communicants today/tomorrow after the 8.15 am mass
in the A V Hall. Please make it a point to attend the same.
3. The Parish Youth Council will meet today/tomorrow after the 9.30 am mass.
4. A special prayer and blessing for students ofour parish who are appearing for the board exams will b e
held on Thursday 16th February at 6.15 p.m. mass.
5. First Holy Communion will be administered to our children on Sunday 26th February 2017 at 10 am
mass. Kindly note the change in mass timing from 9.30am to 10.00 am.
6. Infant Jesus High school golden jubilee mega eco quiz for parents, students and ex-students of our
school will be held today/tomorrow from 10.30 to 11.30 in our school classrooms. About 500
participants - parents, students and ex-students will appear for this environmentquiz. Please follow the
seating arrangement as given by the school.
7. The Made in Heaven, a get-together for eligibles looking out for marriage proposals will be held on
coming Sunday, February 19 at our church auditorium from morning 10.30 to evening 4.30, including
Sunday Mass. Eligibles from our parish are invited take advantage of this opportunity provided in our
own parish. Last date to register your name is coming Wednesday, 15th February in the parish office
8. The annual SCC ECO KIDS environment rally will be held on Sunday, 5th March. Bishop Percival
Fernandez will be the chief guest. The projectfor today’s/tomorrow’s official monthly eco kids meeting
will be to plan out a 7/10 minutes stage item to be performed during the environment rally. As an
encouragementfor participation by all the communities, those SCCs participate in this rally will receive
Rs 1000/- from the parish to defray the costs like eco-friendly costumes, placards, banners,
refreshment expenses during the practices etc. For further details on environment rally, contact your
PPC members or visit our church website.
9. The bi-yearly OLCM session for all parish association members will be held on Sunday, 12th March. As
5th March, first Sunday, will be environment rally due to which PPC members will be busy, the PPC
meeting for March will be held on second Sunday, 12th March. Like last term, this meeting will be
combined with the OLCM session. At 10.30 to 12 will be the OLCM session. From 12 we will have a
shorter PPC meeting. Members of various parish groups attending the session, please enlist your
names with your PPC members. PPC members please send the nos to Fr Felix on online before
Wednesday 8th March.
10. There are 2 permanentvacancies for D.Ed teachers in our school, secondary section, and a temporary
two month vacancy for Hindi/Marathi teacher for March and April. Interested candidates please give
your application in the school office.
11. Your family community fund update letters for January to December 2016 are being delivered to you by
your PPC members.
12. DYC is organizing a camps for youth in the month of April and May. For details see the poster on the
notice board.
13. (for Saturday) The monthly prayer service will be held 0n 18th Feb after the mass. The prayer service
will be conducted by our youth in the form of Gospel Rock.You are welcome to stay back and
experience a new form of prayer in the form of Gospel Rock.
