NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
1. Today, we celebrate the Holy Childhood Sunday. As per the letter received from Fr Savito, Director of Holy
Childhood Society,a special collection will be made during all the masses, after the Holy Communion. This
money will be sent to the archdiocese for the Holy Childhood Society.
2. A Big THANK YOU to all who helped out in the organizing of the Parish Feast and the fete. May the Little
Infant continue to bless all our families.
3. The PPC meeting will be held today/tomorrow
4. Coming Sunday, 12th February 2017 will be celebrated as World Marriage Day. We will have a special
blessing for all the married couples at the 5.30 p.m. mass. This will be followed by a get-together cum
dinner for the married couples in the A V Hall. Kindly give in your names with a registration fee of Rs 100/-
per couple in the Parish office or to Fr. Henry. Last date for registration has been extended to coming
Tuesday 7th February 2017.
5. There will be a meeting for parents of First Holy Communicants on coming Sunday 12th February after the
8.15 am mass in the A V Hall. Please make it a point to attend the same.
6. The Parish Youth Council will meet next Sunday 12th Feb. after the 9.30 am mass.
7. Infant Jesus High school golden jubilee mega eco quiz for parents, students and ex-students of our school
will be held on coming Sunday, 12th February. There will be attractive cash prizes and certificates for the
toppers in the quiz. The entry forms and other details of the quiz are available with school students, or you
can download it from infantjesusjogeshwari website in the school section. Tomorrow, Monday is the last
date to give your entry forms to your class teachers or primary or secondary HMs.
8. The monthly prayer service will be held on the following Saturday 18th February after the evening mass. The
prayer service will be conducted by our youth in the form of Gospel Rock. A special invitation to all youth
and children to attend the same.
9. The Made in Heaven, a get-together for eligibles looking out for marriage proposals will be held on the
following Sunday, February 19 at our church auditorium from morning 10.30 to evening 4.30, including
Sunday Mass. Eligibles from our parish are invited take advantage of this opportunity provided in our own
parish. Boys and girls from various parishes are expected to attend this programme.
10. The annual SCC ECO KIDS environment rally will be held on Sunday, 5th March. Bishop Percival
Fernandez will be the chief guest. Like last year, rally will begin with the WALK FOR ENVIRONMENT.
Parishioners of all faiths will join in this walk for environment with slogans and placards on the theme on
environment, preferably SAVE AAREY COLONY. For the coming Sunday eco kids official monthly
meeting, the projectwill be to plan a 7 to 10 minutes stage programme for 5th March environment rally. The
opportunity to put up this stage programme is kept open to all the SCCs, even if you do not have an eco
kids group. As an encouragementto all the SCCs to participate in the environmentrally, SCCs will receive a
cash gift of Rs 1000/- to defray various expenses like eco-friendly banners, costumes, refreshments during
the practices etc. Further details on this project will be given to you by your PPC members.
11. There are 2 permanentvacancies for D.Ed teachers in our school, secondary section, and a temporary two
month vacancy for Hindi/Marathi teacher for March and April. Interested candidates please give your
application in the school office.
12. Your family community fund update letters for January to December 2016 will be shortly delivered to you by
your PPC members.
13. Daily Flash subscriptions are due for renewal. Please renew them in the parish office.
