of one actor’s arrogance and disrespect of the other’s
father, and their unsuccessful love for each other) to
the point that they would break repulsively from an
embrace being recorded, the moment the director’s cut
was heard. The film went on to be one of the most
profound love stories in Indian Cinemas, and an
absolute gem.
