In early 20th century, travelling circuses would display ‘X shows’. These shows
featured either performers some utterly bizarre abilities or physical features, or
performances in which something bizarre happened. Something like performers
eating the head of a live chicken. It is believed that the word X is derived from the
German word Y, which basically means ‘a stupid person’.
However, Nowadays the word X is used a very different context.
Take this X. Now..
The word Y was adopted in the English language from the French language. The
French word is a 16th century permutation of the Italian word Z, which was the
name of a particular coin. The word Z literally means ‘a little magpie’.
The word Z became an epithet for _________ during early 16th century, because the
first Venetian _________ costed only one Z.
Take this Y.

Excerpt from a Blog titled ‘Back in 1982, I was dealing acid at Jim Morrison’s
grave and that’s when I first met X’.
What’s the worst that could happen? Those six little words… I think we all know what I’m
talking about. We can all point to times in our lives where we’ve said, “What’s the worst that
can happen?” only to have the worst that could happen actually happen and turn out to be
way worse than we could’ve possibly imagined. For me that would have to be going and
seeing Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” with X in 1983 while we were high on acid and he was going
through a transitional phase.
Putin
Don’t get me wrong, can’t forget the times shared
Seem like everywhere I go, I always know you're there
Tried to run but my legs won’t
I look away but my head don’t
I love it when you’re fresh
I love it when I take your top off and we share the same breath
I hate it that I need you, Nikki
But I love it when I feed you, Nikki
I hate that I bleed for you
Uh, I long and I need for you
But I love it when I taste you
Nothing can replace you
I wish I could erase you, you’re everywhere I go
But you’re everywhere I long to be
And all these other people that don’t seem to understand
I’m just a man they always ask what’s wrong with me
Man you’re everything I crave
You’re the only thing I let in that would put me in the grave

X is what you would call a Japanese woodblock print art. It is part of a series called
Thirty Six Views of Mount Fuji by Japanese Artist Hokusai. Out of all the
members of the series, X is most definitely the most popular one. You may have
seen it on numerous articles from posters to paintings to other souvenirs. About
5000-8000 original woodblock prints were printed and nowadays, they fetch
upto $60,000 a piece.

5. They call me Big D and your mom knows
whyBoyhood (2014) captures a family in chaotic real time, and as its actors aged over a
decade-plus of filming, the movie absorbed some of their actual lives. X originated IRL, as a
real gift from Ethan Hawke to his oldest daughter Maya.
Hawke wrote the original version of notes about X for his daughter, then slightly retooled
them while he was working on Boyhood. The result is a heart-wrenching reflection on the
magic that can happen even after a family-type unit breaks up, and the special bond forged
between parents and kids when the latter come to know, and respect, that the former are not
perfect.
An anecdote on how this family came into being:
A was an angry teenager — a switchblade in his pocket, a cigarette in his lips, sex on his mind.
At a memorial service for his "unstable" and suddenly dead mom (whom he'd just recently
been getting close to), he — pissed off and drunk — punched a bandmate in the face and
stormed out of the memorial reception. B, a year younger — a young boy, really, who didn't
yet care about girls, who was clearly UNCOOL, and who was let into the band despite his
lack of badass-ness and sexual prowess due to the fact that even at 14 he could play the shit
out of the guitar — chased A out onto the street saying, "A, why are you being such a jerk?"
A said, "My mum's fuckin' dead!"
B said, "You never even once asked me about my mum."
"What about her?"
"...My mum's dead too."
They hugged in the middle of the suburban street. A apparently said, "Can we please start a
fucking rock 'n' roll band?"

    4. Excerpt from aBlog titled ‘Back in 1982, I was dealing acid at Jim Morrison’s grave and that’s when I first met X’. What’s the worst that could happen? Those six little words… I think we all know what I’m talking about. We can all point to times in our lives where we’ve said, “What’s the worst that can happen?” only to have the worst that could happen actually happen and turn out to be way worse than we could’ve possibly imagined. For me that would have to be going and seeing Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” with X in 1983 while we were high on acid and he was going through a transitional phase.

Don’t get mewrong, can’t forget the times shared Seem like everywhere I go, I always know you're there Tried to run but my legs won’t I look away but my head don’t I love it when you’re fresh I love it when I take your top off and we share the same breath I hate it that I need you, Nikki But I love it when I feed you, Nikki I hate that I bleed for you Uh, I long and I need for you But I love it when I taste you Nothing can replace you I wish I could erase you, you’re everywhere I go But you’re everywhere I long to be And all these other people that don’t seem to understand I’m just a man they always ask what’s wrong with me Man you’re everything I crave You’re the only thing I let in that would put me in the grave 5.

    2. X is whatyou would call a Japanese woodblock print art. It is part of a series called Thirty Six Views of Mount Fuji by Japanese Artist Hokusai. Out of all the members of the series, X is most definitely the most popular one. You may have seen it on numerous articles from posters to paintings to other souvenirs. About 5000-8000 original woodblock prints were printed and nowadays, they fetch upto $60,000 a piece.

    5. They callme Big D and your mom knows whyBoyhood (2014) captures a family in chaotic real time, and as its actors aged over a decade-plus of filming, the movie absorbed some of their actual lives. X originated IRL, as a real gift from Ethan Hawke to his oldest daughter Maya. Hawke wrote the original version of notes about X for his daughter, then slightly retooled them while he was working on Boyhood. The result is a heart-wrenching reflection on the magic that can happen even after a family-type unit breaks up, and the special bond forged between parents and kids when the latter come to know, and respect, that the former are not perfect.

An anecdote onhow this family came into being: A was an angry teenager — a switchblade in his pocket, a cigarette in his lips, sex on his mind. At a memorial service for his "unstable" and suddenly dead mom (whom he'd just recently been getting close to), he — pissed off and drunk — punched a bandmate in the face and stormed out of the memorial reception. B, a year younger — a young boy, really, who didn't yet care about girls, who was clearly UNCOOL, and who was let into the band despite his lack of badass-ness and sexual prowess due to the fact that even at 14 he could play the shit out of the guitar — chased A out onto the street saying, "A, why are you being such a jerk?" A said, "My mum's fuckin' dead!" B said, "You never even once asked me about my mum." "What about her?" "...My mum's dead too." They hugged in the middle of the suburban street. A apparently said, "Can we please start a fucking rock 'n' roll band?"
