Cooling and protection box for distance sensor O1
Essen, February 2011 – ifm electronic now offers a cooling and
protection box to keep the O1 distance sensor cool even in case of
hot ambient temperatures.
For ambient temperatures of up to 180° powerful el ectronics should be
C
cooled sufficiently to protect it against overheating. Using the cooling box,
the distance sensor O1D with PMD technology can now also prove its
performance in hot applications such as in the steel or glass industry.
After connection to a cooling circuit via the standardised 3/8" tube
connections, the temperature on the inside of the cooling box can be
cooled down to an "electronics-friendly" temperature . Water as well as
air cooling are possible. If you screw off the tube connections, the box
can be used as pure protection box for very harsh operating conditions.
Optional mounting accessories allow time-saving installation at low cost.
